Application Process

1. Download SALT Application Form.(PDF) or

2. Send the completed Application Form to the appropriate MCC office:

   U.S. applicants should mail their completed application form to:

   Applications are collected throughout the year. However, due to time constraints only the applications submitted by February 15 have a guarantee of being considered for a service placement in the same calendar year.

   Reasonable efforts are made to place candidates in service even if their application is submitted later than February 15, provided there is enough time left to carry out the placement, preparation and secure the needed visa.

   Upon receiving your application, Human Resources personnel will send out reference forms per the information in your file. Including email addresses for your references will greatly speed up the process.

   The application process cannot be carried through to completion unless MCC receives all of the reference forms written on your behalf.

3. Upon receiving the completed application and all of the reference forms, an MCC Human Resources representative will contact you regarding next steps.
   
4. If it is determined through the application process that you meet MCC's requirements, the HR representative will share your file with the Global Service Learning department to be considered for placement in the SALT program.
